A.Rangkuman
1. Can (Dapat/ Bisa)

Contoh Kalimat:
Can you help me? (Artinya: Dapatkah kamu menolongku?)
I can swim well. (Artinya: Saya bisa berenang dengan baik)
She can sleep well. (Artinya: Dia dapat tidur nyenyak)
Etc.


2. Be able to + Verb (Dapat/ mampu)

Contoh Kalimat:
I must be able to do the assignment.
(Artinya: Saya harus dapat mengerjakan tugas tersebut)
She is able to speak English fluently.
(Artinya: Dia mampu berbicara Bahasa Inggris dengan lancar)
Etc.

3. Managed, Succeeded (Berhasil)

Contoh Kalimat:
He managed to get much money. (Artinya: Dia berhasil mendapatkan banyak uang)
I succeed in a job. (Artinya: Saya berhasil dalam pekerjaan)
Etc.

4. Could (Dapat)

Contoh Kalimat:
I could pass the examination. (Artinya: Saya dapat lulus ujian)
He could play tennis well. (Artinya: Dia dapat bermain tenis dengan baik)
She could fix this machine. (Artinya: Dia dapat membenahi mesin ini)
Etc.

B. Possibility (Kemungkinan)

1. Menggunakan Adjectives: Probable, likely, possible. (Mungkin)

Contoh Kalimat:
It is probable that tomorrow I’ll visit my Aunty.
(Artinya: Mungkin saya besok akan mengunjungi bibiku)
It’s likely that she will go with him.
(Artinya: Mungkin dia kan pergi dengannya)
It’s possible, he loves you.
(Artinya: Mungkin dia mencintaimu)
Etc.

2. Menggunakan Adverbs: Probably, possibly. (Mungkin)

Contoh Kalimat:
Probably, I will accept him again.
(Artinya: Mungkin saya akan menerimnya kembali)
Possibly, she has another man.
(Artinya: Mungkin dia mempunyai pria lain)
Etc.

3. Menggunakan Nouns: Probability, Likelihood, possibility. (Kemungkinan)

Contoh Kalimat:
There is probability that my father will go now.
(Artinya: Ada kemungkinan bahwa ayahku akan pergi sekarang)
It’s likelihood that he fall in love.
(Artinya: Kemungkinan, dia jatuh cinta)
There is possibility that I will marry her.
(Artinya: Ada kemungkinan saya akan menikahinya)
Etc.

4. Perhaps, Maybe (Mungkin)

Contoh Kalimat:
Perhaps, he wants you to go to the party.
(Artinya: Mungkin dia ingin kamu pergi ke pesta)
Maybe, I’ll remember him again.
(Artinya: Mungkin saya kan mengingatnya lagi)
Etc.

5. May/ be going to + Verb (Mungkin/ akan)

Contoh Kalimat:
His love may or may not be true.
(Artinya: Cintanya mungkin benar atau tidak)
I am going to go to America next year.
(Artinya: Saya akan pergi ke Amerika tahun depan)
Etc.
